Most memorials take between 8 and 16 weeks from final design approval to installation. This can vary depending on the cemetery rules, stone availability, and weather conditions, but we keep you updated at every stage.

Do you only work in Offaly, or do you cover other counties?

We are based in Edenderry, Co. Offaly, but we regularly work in neighbouring counties and can discuss travelling further if required. Just contact us and we will let you know what is possible.

Can you add a new inscription to an existing headstone?

Yes. We can carefully add additional inscriptions to an existing headstone and match the style, lettering, and finish as closely as possible.

Do you offer headstone cleaning and restoration?

Yes. We provide professional cleaning and restoration to help restore older headstones, including re-levelling, re-lettering and repair where appropriate.

At AD Rennicks Memorials, we understand that purchasing a headstone or memorial is a deeply personal and emotional decision.
Our goal is to ensure you are completely satisfied with both our craftsmanship and our service.

This Refunds and Returns Policy explains how refunds, returns, and order cancellations are handled for products purchased through our website or directly from our workshop.

2. Bespoke and Custom-Made Products

Because all our memorials and headstones are custom-made to order, the standard “change-of-mind” returns policy does not apply once production has started or materials have been ordered.

Under Irish consumer law, bespoke or personalised items are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

However, we always aim to act fairly and with compassion, and we will review any situation individually.

3. Refunds and Cancellations

a. Before production begins

You may cancel your order within 7 days of payment if production has not yet started.
In such cases, your deposit may be refunded minus any material or design costs already incurred.

b. After production begins

Once work on your memorial has started, refunds cannot generally be offered as materials are cut and personalised specifically for you.
In cases of exceptional hardship or extenuating circumstances, please contact us — we may be able to pause or modify the order.

c. Deposits

Deposits are required to secure your order and materials.
Deposits are non-refundable once production has started or materials have been purchased.

4. Returns and Replacements (Defective or Incorrect Items)

We take pride in our craftsmanship and use only high-quality materials.
However, if a memorial or accessory is found to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will promptly correct the issue.

a. Eligibility for a return or repair

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if:

The product received is not as described in your quotation or confirmation form.
The memorial is damaged or defective due to our workmanship or materials.
The wrong item or inscription has been supplied.

b. Process

Contact us at support@adrennicksmemorials.ie within 14 days of delivery or installation.
Provide your name, order number, and a clear description (and photos, if possible).
We will assess the issue within 5 business days and arrange inspection or repair.
If a replacement or correction is required, we will do so at no cost to you.

c. Timeframe for refunds (if applicable)

Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days via your original payment method.
Refunds cover the full cost of the defective product; any other compensation is at our discretion.

5. Exclusions

Refunds or returns cannot be accepted for:

Normal variations in stone colour, grain, or natural texture.
Damage caused by external factors such as vandalism, subsidence, or weather.
Incorrect information supplied by the customer (e.g., misspellings in approved inscriptions).
Wear and tear over time or improper cleaning after installation.

For non-custom accessories (such as vases, plaques, or chippings) purchased separately:

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
Refunds will be issued within 10 business days after inspection of the returned item.

Customer-initiated returns (for non-custom items) must be shipped at your own cost.
Faulty or incorrect products: AD Rennicks Memorials will cover all collection, repair, or replacement costs.
